If you’ve ever been on a boat with me you know m If you’ve ever been on a boat with me you know my motto is “always better lucky than good.” When it comes to the ocean, you generally need a bit of luck (even if you’re really good). When I jumped in with orcas and humpbacks, I drifted away from the bait ball and couldn’t see any animals below. Without fins and in a dry suit, I slowly swam back, but worried I would miss whatever did swim below me because I was looking up. I saw a dorsal fin coming my way, put my head in the water (my mask instantly completely flooded), and tried to blindly capture whatever I could. I ended up getting super lucky 🎉 Sometimes it’s best to trust your gut and pull the trigger even if you can’t see (metaphorically speaking that is) ALSO! So glad I have one nice orca image to show for my time in Norway.
I wanna swim with whales, she said. One swam up fr I wanna swim with whales, she said. One swam up from below and full body breached as we sat in the water nearby. Few places will take your breath away like Moorea. #humpbackwhale #moorea #whale #sony
